The Learning Resource Metadata Initiative (LRMI), a project to create a common vocabulary for describing learning resources on the Internet, has announced the formation of its technical working group. The group includes representatives from leading experts in the fields of education, publishing, and metadata.

Partnership aids data-driven instruction

netTrekker and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), have partnered to help educators conduct data-driven instruction. DataDirector, an online assessment management system from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, is now integrated with netTrekker, enabling teachers to identify standards-aligned, digital content that can be used to address students’ individual needs.
